This one day Integrated Systems Design Seminar is staged at our offices in Thelwall every 2 months and offers designers, system integrators and others an invaluable opportunity to enhance their knowledge and CPD.
The seminar for up to 8 people, covers all aspects of what is practical and what can be achieved through integration, using third party manufacturer's development kits and API's. It also provides an insight into PC's, Networks, Data Connections, Maps, Cause & Effects and more importantly, what the installer / integrator has to consider when using a GUI as part of an integrated system.

Over seven years ago Bradford Royal Infirmary invested in a Datalog Security Management System and only last month they also committed to further enhancements through a software upgrade.
This project is a prime example of the importance of reliability within a software environment. Centurion Security, the main security contractor for the Infirmary have been delighted with Datalog's performance. Managing Director, David Armstrong commented, "Datalog has been an outstanding investment for the Infirmary. It is operator accountable and highly reliable, so much so that over the course of it's seven year operation we have never once had to call on Cortech for any technical support."

New enhanced functionality for CCTV Thursday, May 01, 2008 (215 reads)
Cortech have enhanced the functionality of Datalog 4 for integration with CCTV. Our software allows the automatic call up, upon alarm condition, of up to five cameras to preset positions on to five monitors. It also supports any number of banks of monitors for alarm switching.
A new feature of the software is GUI configured camera sequence's. These are user configured cameras and preset call ups, providing automatic switching of cameras to monitors. Multiple cameras and monitors can exist in a single sequence down to a single camera to a single monitor touring through its presets. Cameras can be dragged / dropped from the site plans to configure the sequence and can be given the specific dwell times and monitor to use.

Cortech have strengthened their software proposition with the addition of a new 3D Visual map service.
The user friendly 3D maps are of stunningly high quality and definition and provide a virtual impression of buildings and the rooms contained within them. Furthermore, images are now instantly recognisable, layouts are very precise and specific areas on complex plans are easily locatable.
